In this video, the professionals at iHASCO explain step-by-step how to use DR ABC during emergencies.
🔤 What is DR ABC?
Let’s break it down:
D – Danger: Make sure the area is safe before helping.
R – Response: Gently check if the person responds to your voice or touch.
A – Airway: Open the airway by tilting the head and lifting the chin.
B – Breathing: Check if the person is breathing normally.
C – Circulation: If not breathing, begin chest compressions and call emergency services.
These steps could help save someone’s life before an ambulance arrives. Learning them early could make you a real hero one day.

👦 A Note From Yusuf
As a young Nigerian student passionate about helping others, I created this blog to teach first aid the easy way. Even though I don’t have equipment or a studio, I believe everyone deserves to learn how to save a life.
If you’ve never heard of DR ABC before, now you have! Please share this with your friends and family.
Let’s keep learning together.
