         Introduction to First Aid

Welcome to First Aid Simplified — your go-to blog for learning life-saving skills in the simplest way possible.

My name is Yusuf Ridwanulahi Adeleke, a student and the creator of this blog. I strongly believe that first aid knowledge should be available to everyone, especially young people and everyday citizens who may face emergencies at home, school, on the road, or anywhere else.

What Is First Aid?

First aid is the immediate help given to someone who is injured or suddenly becomes ill before professional medical help arrives. These simple actions can save lives, reduce pain, and prevent a situation from getting worse.

Some examples of first aid include:

• Performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) when someone stops breathing

  • Treating a burn or cut
  • Helping someone who is choking
  • Managing bleeding or fainting

This blog will teach you how to handle such situations step by step — even if you’re not a doctor or nurse.

To begin your journey into first aid, I’m sharing a helpful video by Dr. Graham Dersnah. He explains CPR in a clear and simple way that anyone can follow.
